As an outstanding professional, he did not hesitate to turn from a technical expert who tackled the technical challenges of communication development to a deputy minister of post and telecommunications who increased telephone penetration across the country.In his new position, he continued to promote the development of China's telecommunications economy and network discipline, telecommunications national automatic telephone network, post office system network construction, telecommunications maintenance reform and economic accounting system.In 1994, the Chinese Academy of Engineering was established, Zhu Feng participated in the preparation work, and after being elected as the first academician, he became the permanent vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
