Second, the "Silicon Valley Into Oxford" campaign.The "Silicon Valley Into Oxford" event, organized by Syed Business School, is held once a year and has been around for seven years.At the event, SBS invited leaders of high-tech companies from Silicon Valley to Oxford every time, including lectures for students of SBS Master's Program, discussions between students and faculty, lectures on high-tech companies' entrepreneurship.Close contact with the leaders of the world's top high-tech companies brings students cutting-edge entrepreneurial practices and inspires students to work hard to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
Third, "Oxford University Business Planning Competition".The Oxford Business Plan Competition, organised by the Syed School of Business, holds several competitions on different topics at different times each year, with unlimited investment funding for projects ranging from £10,000 to £1.5 million in venture capital.Participants are sometimes limited to students and local entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, etc.; sometimes open to global participants.The judges of the competition include famous domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, government decision makers, university academic authorities and managers of large companies.The prize money for the competition is usually between £60 and £70,000.One of the most important criteria for judging entries is whether or not they can obtain venture capital.Other criteria include: the unique selling point of the project; whether it will gain a certain share of the market in the future; management team; financial planning; and social and environmental benefits.Participants in the competition not only have the opportunity to get advice and help from famous managers, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in entrepreneurship, but also are more likely to get a venture capital to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.Therefore, each of the Oxford Business Plan Competitions attracts many students and the community who are committed to entrepreneurship.
