The author has established the ideal of education and national prosperity in the university, and has been observing and thinking about education in China and the United States for more than 20 years.In recent years, we have returned home frequently, and we feel that while China's education has achieved great achievements, there are many aspects that are far from the basic functions of education, some are related to social trends.I read a series of books criticizing the evils of the times at the education theory section of Xinhua Bookstore, but I don't see any monographs on the reform of the college entrance examination.Some books strongly expose and reprimand serious problems such as excessive tuition fees, suicide of students and parents, poor students and lack of teachers and ethics, but how to deal with such problems and how to implement the correct education method.The author acknowledges that in some respects this paper is idealistic, or biased, and welcomes the controversy of hundreds of schools.It is hoped that this article will lead to extensive discussions with all those who are interested in cultural and scientific education in China and around the world, and comprehensively analyze the gains and losses of Chinese education.It is recommended that China set up a state-level education institute to conduct systematic and in-depth research on early childhood education, primary school, middle school, university, graduate school, and adult education.At the same time, the Institute of Education should send experts and scholars to advanced countries for study visits, explore advanced educational methods, and integrate them into China's educational reform.Similarly, China's education is worth learning in some ways from other countries, including the United States.Education is the foundation of the nation, to make China invincible in the forests of the world, and more generally, to make the peoples of the world live in harmony and prosperity, only education and re-education.
