AI is expected to improve the efficiency of the whole value chain of the construction industry. There will be important changes from the production of building materials to the stages of architectural design, planning and construction and facility management. In the planning and design stage, AI provides important support for building information modeling and generative design. The generation design based on AI system uses the previously planned and built architectural drawing database and obtains knowledge based on the big data in the database to develop the design scheme.
