Therefore, when I recruit a doctoral student, the most important thing I pay attention to is whether he wants to pursue a doctor's degree with all his heart. If he finds out that he has other ideas, it is basically the first student to be eliminated.

2) The master stage research topic and the tutor research direction have certain relevance to the students. In the process of doctoral students enrollment, we also welcome students from other disciplines to join the research group, which can promote interdisciplinary and make more innovative achievements in the future. However, the tutor is generally more willing to recruit students who have a certain foundation in his research field. These students have at least the basic knowledge in the field, understand the main issues of concern in the field, and master some basic skills. They may enter the doctoral status more quickly after they join the research group.

3) Students with better research foundation. I often have a strange question from my classmates, "is it suitable for a doctor?" in fact, it is difficult to answer this question. However, in order to ensure that the doctoral students admitted have certain "scientific research potential", everyone likes students with better scientific research foundation.
