As a university teacher, writing and publishing papers has become a part of our daily life. In the past, we have made important discoveries in scientific research, and will be "unable to help" to publish them to foreign academic journals. Make complaints about domestic periodicals, such as slow speed of paper review, high cost of layout, more relationship and academic level. After returning home, I served as the editorial committee or youth Editorial Committee of China Mechanical Engineering, Journal of plastic engineering, engineering, Journal of Central South University (jcsu). I have contacted with the editors of these journals, and I feel totally different from the previous ones. Editors make complaints about their development. Here are some new changes in the development of domestic academic journals I have learned.

1) The development speed of domestic academic journals is far faster than that of international academic journals. The previous day jcsu held a youth Editorial Committee meeting, in which the journal director introduced the influence factors of domestic scientific and technological academic journals increasing at an average annual growth rate of nearly 27%, far exceeding the growth rate of foreign academic journals. When I was a graduate student, the Journal of Materials Science & Technology (jmst), sponsored by the Institute of Sciences, had only about 0.1 influence factors. However, the jmst impact factor in 2019 reached 6.155, which is the fourth in the world in SCI metallurgical and metallurgical engineering journals. Another journal, Journal of magnesium and alloy sponsored by Chongqing University, has developed very fast. In 2019, the impact factor is 7.115, which is the second in the world of SCI metallurgical and metallurgical engineering journals, and it is expected to reach the first in 2020. Of course, the two academic journals of engineering and jcsu mentioned above have also developed rapidly. In December, 2020, I attended the meeting of young communication experts of the Ministry of machinery and transport of engineering. The influence factors of engineering journals are more than 10. The journal positioning is in line with nature and science, and will become one of the three most influential academic journals in the world. Jcsu journal is also developing rapidly, and it is expected to rise to a higher level in the next 2-3 years.

2) More and more attention has been paid to the authors in domestic academic journals. The author is the foundation of the development of academic journals, and without the first-class authors, there will be no first-class contributions. This year, I talked with the director of jcsu journal editing department. They often contacted the authors, and rewarded the authors who published excellent papers in the journals, set up green channels for the winners to contribute, and reward participating in academic conferences and holding individual academic activities. Meanwhile, in order to help the author to promote academic achievements, the academic journals in China use the official account of the journal to give a wonderful introduction to the results. My paper, "research progress of deep cold rolling for high performance metal materials" was published in the first issue of China Mechanical Engineering in 2020. After the publication of the paper, the editorial office of China mechanical engineering has pushed more than 3000 times in the official account number. It should be said that the academic journals in China pay more attention to the author and the author's feelings than ever before. I often attend domestic academic conferences, and I often meet the editors of China mechanical engineering who are also participating in these academic conferences, and often invite the authors to contribute. In order to run a good journal, the Journal of plastic engineering invites important domestic academic institutions to publish columns in the national key laboratories and national engineering centers to form the influence of "team". Such innovation model undoubtedly forms a win-win model for the organization, individual and periodicals.

3) The domestic academic journals pay more and more attention to young scholars. Traditional academic journals attach great importance to the scholars who have made great achievements and influence, and can bring honor to the journals. However, many scholars who have been famous for a long time are not on the front line of scientific research and do not write academic papers themselves. Their contribution to the improvement of the quality of an academic journal is relatively limited. However. Most young scholars do experiments and papers on the front line of scientific research. They pay close attention to and understand the latest academic developments and hottest scientific research issues in academic circles. It should be said that young scholars are the direct contributors to most academic papers. Nowadays, the domestic academic journals attach great importance to young scholars. Engineering Journal established young communication experts, and jcsu established youth Editorial Committee. In this world, everything is the priority for the young talents to develop. A academic journal is supported by a group of outstanding young scholars, which will surely develop rapidly. Nowadays, many academic journals have established youth Editorial Committee. Through the participation of a group of young scholars active in the academic field, after some years of development, the influence of academic journals will naturally increase day by day.

4) More and more famous scholars contribute to domestic academic journals. Now our country has invested a lot in scientific research. However, before, we wrote these research achievements into academic papers and then they were submitted to foreign journals. Then, our country invested a lot of money to purchase foreign academic journal database, and "buy back" the academic achievements we published for you to learn. The more papers we publish to foreign academic journals, the more "copyright" foreign publishers have, and the more funds the domestic libraries need to spend on the purchase of papers. Previously, we encouraged scholars to publish academic papers in foreign academic journals and increase their international influence. However, few people consider publishing academic papers to foreign academic journals, which is equivalent to "free" work for those journals to help them earn money. In recent years, the expenditure on publishing papers and purchasing foreign academic journals database in foreign open source academic journals is a very huge number. Now, many people have realized that Chinese scholars have published a lot of academic papers in recent years, which has created a lot of knowledge wealth for the world. However, the "ownership" of these intellectual wealth is not our country. I also often encounter such strange things. Some papers are published in an international academic journal. When I download the full text of this paper, the school can not download the academic papers written by myself because the school does not purchase the database of this journal. Therefore, many famous scholars now call on you to publish academic papers to our own academic journals, and jointly create a number of world-class academic journals with intellectual copyright in China. In january2020, China Mechanical Engineering published the 30th anniversary album, which included many academic papers published by academicians and famous scholars. We hope that, driven by these famous scholars, all of us will contribute the best achievements to domestic academic journals, and promote the development of domestic academic journals together.

It is a task for our generation to write papers on the land of our country and publish excellent academic achievements in domestic academic journals. The application for national science and technology projects has begun to emphasize the importance of domestic academic journals, and at least one third of the representative works are published in domestic academic journals. We should keep pace with the times, respond to the call of the state, make good achievements and publish the best achievements in domestic academic journals.
