In recent two days, I was invited to attend the 30th anniversary of the graduation of the 1989 students of our college. I remember that my teacher once told us that the courses of mathematical physics and electronics offered by geophysical exploration major of Beijing Institute of Geosciences were equivalent to those offered by engineering major of Tsinghua University. Of course, when I introduce their "advanced deeds" to their younger brothers and sisters, I always joke that the students majoring in geophysical exploration in those years had a solid foundation in mathematics, physics and Geosciences, which is of positive significance for them to understand the world and achieve their present career.
